Ukraine released video on Wednesday that it said showed an artillery strike on a Russian military post outside Kyiv, set to AC/DC's "Highway to Hell."
Zaluzhny wrote that an artillery strike was created: "a highway to hell was created for the command post and support post of the 35th army of the Eastern Military District of the Russian Federation."
Russian Soldiers Killed In Deadly Strike By Ukraine
The aerial footage, along with other footage of Ukrainian attacks, appears to have been captured by a drone. It shows cars and sheds being blown up amidst thick white smoke.
The location of the scene is a wooded area that Insider cannot immediately identify or locate. Reporters and military analysts shared the video on social media, but did not say anything about the location or other details.
Russian forces are struggling to advance towards Kyiv and other key targets in Ukraine. The British Ministry of Defense wrote in an early intelligence assessment on Thursday that the attacking forces "have made minimal progress on land, sea and air in recent days and they continue to suffer heavy casualties".
"The Ukrainian resistance remains strong and coordinated. The vast majority of Ukrainian territory, including all major cities, remains in Ukrainian hands.
How A Dispute Over Groceries Led To Artillery Strikes In Ukraine
Ukraine's armed forces said on Thursday that Russian forces have lost 444 tanks and 1,435 armored personnel carriers since the fighting began on February 24.
Neither Russia nor other countries have confirmed these figures. Russia acknowledged the deaths of around 500 soldiers in early March, but has not released additional figures in recent weeks.
On Wednesday, the New York Times reported, citing US officials, that the latest death toll in Russia is around 7,000, a conservative number.
